This is inspired by the original "Pink Panther" movie, not the 2006 remake.

"Monsterpiece Theater" logo and fanfare. Cut to Alastair Cookie sitting in his armchair.

Cookie: "Welcome to "Monsterpiece Theater". Tonight, me bring you classic comedy fulla crime and food, "The Pink Pastry", featuring great detective and funny guy, Inspector Clouseau. And now, "The Pink Pastry"."

Fade in on the inside of a bakery, with a variation on the "Pink Panther" theme playing in the background. The baker (Fat Blue AM) is behind the counter when Inspector Clouseau (Orange Gold AM) comes in.

Baker: "Ah, good evening, Inspector."

Clouseau: "I am here to buy a pastray."

Baker: "What?"

Clouseau: "A pastray, the things you have on those shelves."

Baker: "Oh, you mean PASTRY!"

Clouseau: "That is what I said."

Baker: "Right. Do you want this one?"

As he says this, he picks up a yellow pastry, and Clouseau examines it.

Clouseau: "No."

He tosses it over his shoulder.

Baker (picking up a green pastry): "Will this one do?"

Clouseau (examining it): "No."

He tosses that one over his shoulder, too!

Baker (picking up a pink pastry): "What about this one?"

Clouseau: "AHA! That's the one!"

He then pays for it.

Clouseau: "It's for my wife."

As he then starts to leave......

Baker: "WATCH OUT! DON'T STEP ON THE PASTRIES!"

Clouseau slips on the pastries, screams, and falls down. The baker then scrunches up his face as a variation on the closing theme to the "Pink Panther" cartoons plays. Cut back to "Monsterpiece Theater" set.

Cookie: "And there you have it, "The Pink Pastry". Tune in next time for another Inspector Clouseau adventure, "Croissant in the Dark"!"

He picks up a croissant and devours it.

Cookie: "Buh-bye."

"Monsterpiece Theater" fanfare.
