*Fade into Allistair Cookie's library*

ALLISTAIR COOKIE: Ah, good eve-a-ning, and welcome to Monsterpiece Theater; me Allistair Cookie, and tonight, me proud to present to you really smart, really so-fis-ta-cated brain tickler... *Scratches head* 'Scuse me, me brain tickled! *Laughs* So now, me present to you now... "The Day After Tomorrow"...

*Fade into Ernie and Bert's apartment, where Ernie is seen leaning over the counter in their living room, sadly sighing, and drumming his fingers, while Bert sits in his chair, reading. Ernie looks over at Bert, before returning to his sighing and finger drumming, only this time he does it louder; once again, Ernie sneaks a peek at Bert, who is still reading, so he resumes sighing and drumming even louder, until Bert lowers his book from his face*

BERT: What is it Ernie? !

ERNIE: Huh? Uh, what's that Bert?

BERT: I know you're trying to get my attention, what is it? !

ERNIE: Bert? I'm bored...

BERT: Well, I'm sorry about that... *Resumes reading*

ERNIE: Oh Bert, there's nothing to do around here, can't we go on our vacation to the beach NOW?

BERT: No Ernie, we can't go now.

ERNIE: Why not?

BERT: Because, we're not leaving until the day after tomorrow.

ERNIE: Oh... well, what then? How will we know it's the day after tomorrow? How will we know it's TOMORROW? How do we know it's today? ! *Freaks out* OH BERT! TIME HAS FROZEN FOR EVERYBODY BUT US BERT! OHHHHH! WOE ARE WE, BERT! THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW WILL NEVER COME! *Wails*

BERT: ERNIE! ! !

ERNIE: Yes Bert?

BERT: Come with me...

*Bert gets up from his chair, and walks over to the wall, next to their apartment door; on the wall is a calendar*

BERT: Ernie, take a look at this...

ERNIE: Why, that's just a calendar Bert!

BERT: That's right, THIS is how you know what day it is... now look... you see all of these little squares with the X's in them?

ERNIE: Yeah.

BERT: Those are the days that have already come and gone... see there? *Points to the last square with an X* That's YESTERDAY, that's the day that came before today... you see this one here? *Points to the first blank square* That's today...

ERNIE: Oh, I think I understand Bert...

BERT: Now, at the end of the day, when the day is over, that's when this square on the calendar will have an X in it as well, and when that happens, today will become yesterday, and tomorrow will become today.

ERNIE: Hold it Bert... I think I see something here... *Points to the first blank square* THIS is today... and when today is over, this square will have an X in it like all of these other days, and this THIS square that shows us tomorrow will be today.

BERT: Ver-ry good, Ernie... now you see THIS square... *Points to the second blank square, with a star in it* that's the day after tomorrow, that's when we'll be going on vacation. See that little star I drew?

ERNIE: Yeah.

BERT: That will help remind us that that's the day we'll be leaving for vacation. The day after tomorrow.

ERNIE: Oh, I understand Bert.

BERT: You're sure?

ERNIE: Oh yes, very sure.

BERT: Oh good, now please let me get back to my book...

*Bert walks off, while Ernie watches him, before turning his head in different directions, as if he's up to something; at that moment, Ernie pulls a red marker from his jeans pocket, and uses it to scribble an X into today's square, and tomorrow's square.*

ERNIE: Oh, uh, it looks like you overlooked something Bert...

BERT: What's that Ernie?

ERNIE: Well, all of these squares now have Xs in them... so that means the day after tomorrow... IS TODAY! OH BERT! WE CAN GO ON OUR VACATION TODAY! YIPPEE! I'LL START PACKING!

BERT: ERNIE! ! !

*Fade into Allistair Cookie's library again*

ALLISTAIR COOKIE: And there you have it, "The Day After Tomorrow"... me TOLD you it brain tickler, did me not? *Scratches head* Sorry, me brain tickled again! *Laughs* Well, that all the time we have tonight, but me sure me can work you into me schedule... *Pulls out calendar* now let me see... uh... *Points to first blank square* now let see... that today? *Looks out window* No, it dark out, it must be tonight... so how do me know if it's today, or tomorrow... let me see here... uh... "Tuesday"? No, that no say tomorrow... "Wednesday"? No, that no say tomorrow either... *Reads over calendar* Nowhere on calendar say tomorrow... *To camera, gasping* Has time frozen for everyone but me? ! Oh no! What-ever me do? ! *Pause* Oh well... COWABUNGA! *Eats calendar*

Beats me, as I said in the other thread, I recently decided to start writing MT spoofs again myself, I hope these new ones will turn out better than my old ones years ago, lol.
