I was more than happy to pay the comic book store prices for pack 1 and 2 of the Muppet Show 'minis' as I just couldnt believe the detail.

I am not sre if I would call them 'mini' per se, as they seem to fit 100% in line with the Fisher Price and Jack in the box line. As a 3-4.5" figure colelctor I could not be more happier.

I mean to finally be able to put an in scale Same Eagle, as well as having Thog, Mahna Mahna and the two Snowths with my figure colelction is amazing.

A few questions:

1) I notice these are not so much "PVC" figurines, as they are for one much much bigger than any pvc Ive seen(even bigger than the Gorgs pvs) and the way they are put together seems more akin to action figures than solid one pieces. I was curious if there is any way to make some of these figures posable/jointed?

2) Any indication of what series 3 would be? Im hoping for Uncle Deadly, Digit, Beaker, Behemoth, Nigel, and Doglion^_^

3) I notice the material used is very abrasive, another reason I wouldnt really call them figurines or PVC's. Is there any way to coat them so they arent so 'rough'.

Anyways, I've been collecting Muppet figures since I was 3, and these are definately some of the coolest ones Ive ever seen.
Gotta hand it to Palisades, making obscure characters a reality!
(seriously, who would ever thought we'd have figures of Thog, lobster Banditos, Koozebanes, Mahna Mahna, and other obscure characters?)

Looking forward to getting mine!

I wasn't intending to, but if the details are that good, how can I pass them up??

Time to start the search...

As of now there are no plans for another series of minis after the MCC ones. If there is to be one, we may find out in a few months. Not totally sure though.

I think Ken said they were already planning another MCC set, not neccessarily set 5 & 6 but it is one being planned although I could be wrong.

I mainly just want the MCC PVC figures. These figures look good to though. I just wish Palisades would come out with some normal sized MCC figures. It is my favorite Muppet movie.
