Michigan Newbie Wanting to Learn to Puppet- Where to Start?

Pretty much what the title says. I've been having a ton of fun with my Red and Mokey hand puppets and I really want to learn how to use puppets professionally. Problem is, I have no idea where to begin at all. Advice?

If you want the basic beginner stuff, you can find a lot of stuff on YouTube.

The Jim Henson Company posted this and a few others on their channel.

You should attend The Motor City Puppet Blast in Detroit this summer. They should have lots of great workshops. You can also find your closest PofA Guild on that web site and they can help keep you in the loop about other upcoming workshops and other events in your area.
