Hey everyone, it looks as if Beau put his plan for emergencies into place just in time. It's NOT an emergency yet, but Kathy (katzi428) e-mailed me and asked me to pass a message along to all of you. Due to her medical condition (if you don't know about it, let me know through e-mail, I don't know how much info she'd want posted) she's been having some severe headaches and MAY be having to go into the hospital after seeing her specialist tomorrow. She did not want to alarm anyone, but simply wanted everyone to be aware about it if it happened. She has promised to keep me in the loop so I can let you all know what is going on. I'm sure if she doesn't go to the hospital, she'll be back up here posting herself when she feels better. So, we all need to think good thoughts and say some prayers for Kathy. She's a wonderful friend here at MC. I should have an update tomorrow or at best, she will.

OK everyone...here's the thing. I'm sure several of you have read that I have something called hydrocephalus (or,in regular terms,water on the brain)There's a tube (AKA shunt) to drain the water out.The shunt goes from my right side of my head down into my neck,into my stomach & drains out from there (I won't gross you out as to where it drains out) )Anyway,since this past Saturday I've had pain where the shunt site is on my neck.Since Tuesday I've been having headaches where the shunt is in my head.So now I'm getting nervous. I have an appointment with my neurologist around 10:30 in the morning .
In the event that I need to be hospitalized,my father will Email Beth (redBoobergurl) & she'll report back here.If I DON'T need to be put in the hospital(which I'm praying not),I'll give an update tomorrow.
