Has anybody ever seen this book? There's a page for it at Muppet Wiki, but no cover image.

It's interesting that it was based on the episode where the adult first see Snuffleupagus, but they meet him differently (by chance as opposed to elaborate planning).

Also interesting is that the book is from 1988, three years after the adults learned that he was real. Wouldn't the kids reading it have been unaware of Snuffy's "imaginary" years by then?

I have that book. I bought it from an op-shop early this year when I was on a trip and your sentiments echo mine.
BTW, not wanting to blow my own trumpet but I helped edit the page about it on Muppet Wiki.
