Sounds good - so Jamie did the interview with Ken, and Annika did the S3 Review ? I think it's important to know who's views you are reading. All the figures got great reviews but that isn't suprising because the standard was so high this time.

Interesting insights from Ken too !

I really like the insights from Ken...I always find it interesting to see what things would be changed by the designer himself  Well, I love ym tux Rowlf, but now I have even more anticipation for the "nekkid" figure

Actually, Jamie did the figure reviews and I did the interview, but it was a collabrotive process.

Yeah at one time Ken did his own lengthy review of Series 2, it was VERY insighful - in fact by the end of it he sounded like he wanted to tear up the Muppet license and do the Care Bears instead ....... i guess designers are very critical of themselves ! LOL !

I can't get the link because the Palisades forum is down but people should go there and read it if they are Lilly Lovers !

I tried to limit my review to a "telling" or an account of the figures, rather than a full-fledged review. Everyone knows how I feel anout these figures, but my purpose was to provide the key points of information about them. What they came with, where they articulated, what was lacking and a little of what I found interesting.

Great job as always you two. It was great to hear what Ken had to say about this wave.

I love it!

Great article!

Series 1 was a first pass with Palisades just beginning to understand the Muppets and how to turn them into figures. Series 2 was a substantial improvement; each figure more accurately captured the personality of the Muppet. In Series 3, they moved beyond the initial learning stages of the Muppet action figure line and found their footing.
I think this opening paragraph sums up my feelings perfectly.
Judging from what I saw at Toy Fair, it just gets better from here!

Very nice interview and reviews. However, I notice that it lists a cannon as one of super hero Scooter's accessories. He actually comes with folding step ladder. not a cannon.
