There was a new version of "it feels like christmas" with applause at the end that I've never heard before. Where is it from, and where would one get a copy of it?

Hi Artie,

It's from an Ed Sullivan tribute special that was shown in December 1992. Before the song there's a wonderful piece with Kermit and Piggy as well.

Glad you are enjoying the new Christmas music on Muppet Central Radio!

I've got a promo CD with another recording of the song. It's listed as 'It Feels Like Christmas (Muppet Mix)' - is this the same thing?

Alex,

The version you have is very close to the Ed Sullivan version that is in our rotation. The only thing that is slightly different is the dialogue in between each verse.
