Oh great, there's a 40's thread, a 60's thread, even an 1860's thread, but no one wants to comment on the decade that we're currently in?

When you really think about it, in the long run, the new millenium has pretty only begun, so how can we be nostalgic about it, when we haven't really begun to live it yet?

Muffins anyone?

The 2000's is a horrible decade so far. Hurrican Katrina, 9/11, rise of inflation, house foreclosers, bad economy, bad job market, rise in fuel prices, rise in food, the war over in Iraq.

Not to mention the fact that 2004, 2006, and the first eight months of 2007 were among the worst years of my life!
