Last week it became public that Billionaire Haim Saban is the frontrunner to purchase the Jim Henson Company. We have the news stories and an insightful editorial from Jim Hill on these unprecedented events. The sale is expected to be completed by the end of the year so that EM.TV can pay off a large loan.

If you love DVD’s, then Christmas has come early! The Muppet Christmas Carol DVD is now available. Read our reviews to find out what fans think of the disc. Time-Life has also released five new Muppet Show DVD’s. In other DVD news, James Carroll has written an editorial comparing widescreen and pan-and-scan DVD releases.
