I don't know if anybody else saw this, but the girl Marnie on NBC's new show Committed sang the Mahna Mahna song and it's also her cell phone ring tone.
It was fun to see this- looks to be a promising show.

"Mahna Mahna" is one of those songs that people seem to know even if they don't remember where it's from. I'm glad it's getting exposure, and it's interesting that it would be on NBC, considering that it's a rival of Disney's ABC.

Well, if you think that's strange... You know the animated show Philmore that airs on ABC and Toon Disney? Well, there's an episode about a kid in the school mascot's costume who stole the super-tough entrance level tests. And as they're chasing after a wrong suspect, the officers who are other kids run through the gym class pyramid. The thing is that the teacher says that the kids have formed a mighty pyramid that'll resist anything, much like Geodude's Harden Attack.
I know, I know... a Pokeman reference? On a Disney toon series?
And yet it happened.
