I first want to say how amazing this entire site is, how much fun, and how much I appreciate its presence. And it runs smooth as silk, well done to the powers that be.
I want to mention a very different kind of site that is well worth visiting and probably well-suited to MC Forumdwellers.
It's www.lovemarks.com, run by Saatchi and Saatchi Advertising. Lovemarks are not only consumer brands but meaningful-to-you icons, landmarks, etc. It costs nothing to participate. You can nominate your own lovemarks for inclusion and/or just surf the site. If your nomination is taken you're eligible to win a new car. You can also vote on how you feel about the other lovemarks on the site and read about why nominators chose what they did. People from all over the world are doing this, it's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. I nominated the Statue of Liberty and got her in. And - most popular lovemark so far? Sesame Street.
Check it out, very fun.
