If anyone is interested the Joseph Papp film of The Pirates Of Penzance is being screened on ITV3 tomorrow (Sunday). I believe this film is also available on DVD.

Also I notice that the long forgotten British film Billy The Kid And The Green Baize Vampire has recently been released on DVD. IMHO it is the best film ACTING (as opposed to puppeteering) appearance that Louise Gold has made to date.

Just wanted to mention it.

Actually, I've had that Pirates of Penzance on tape for many years. I'd definitely recommend it, it's funny and the songs are wonderful. I was really shocked when I realized Louise Gold was one of the Major General's daughters.
