Loosing your favorite TV Role Model

I remember when I was here posting once and I found out about the death of Joseph Barbera. Which shocked me. I'm a Hanna-Barbera junkie and I couldn't believe I had saw a thread on this forum that one of my cartoon creators had passed on. Has that ever happened to you before?

Well yeah, Jim Henson had been dead for longer than I have realized... I didn't even realize who he was until I was older, and by that time, he had already been dead for quite some time. I was born a year before his death, so that's really sad, especially when I think about how great it would've been to actually meet him.
