As sparks fly on the Termite Terrace Trading Post about the double dips, I'm personally happy to report Warner Home Video is releasing Looney Tunes on Blu-ray for the first time on November 15.

My Golden Collections look great on my HDTV, so I imagine that this set will look spectacular. I think I know what to spend my birthday money on instead of Cars 2. :electric:

aw, its only on blu ray? Well poo.

and can someone please explain to me why blu ray disks are a hundred times more expoensive than a dvd? I cant justify spening 60 bucks on a 2 disk set when thats what I paid for the 6 dvd PPG set...that and I only have a ps3, not a stand alone blu ray player and Have a rule to not watch movies on my game systems XD

then again, I am a total cheapo and will even stand there in the store and calculate what is cheaper when given a single item or a set of said item and buy it based on whats cheaper. Heck, I do the same thing at fast food restauraunts. I drive my friends crazy lol

anyway, I hope they release a similar set on dvd

I had no idea that existed. Cool XD
Oh yes, there are six volumes of 4-disc Looney Tunes collections, they came out from 2003 to '08. I highly recommend them, no DVD collection should be without them.

Are those old ones still around? I've never been able to pick any of them up due to their high price (they WERE around 60 when they first came out on regular DVD, Floyd) and I'm pretty sure those aren't easy to find, even at a reasonable price.

Still, the little extras that come with the expensive collector's set are kinda cool. Other than that, it's just rereleasing what we already have for Bluray.

Most of them should be able to find a bit cheaper on Amazon, be it used or new.
