Looking for the title of an old show (maybe PBS) from the 80s...

It involved an older woman and a man (perhaps married?). The man read stories - fables, fairy tales, and the like - and the woman illustrated them in chalk behind him. I believe she had short grey hair, glasses and a flannel shirt.

I think it may have been PBS; I remember watching around the time Davey & Goliath and Slim Goodbody were around.
