I have a neat little story with a happy ending to tell you.

In 1999, I first went on Muppet Central. I read the news article about the SS trailer, "Don't Forget to Watch the Movie", at Loews Theaters. I tried to download it but, sadly, I couldn't do it because it was no longer there. All I found were downloadable trailers to movies released that year, including "Mystery Men", "Mystery Alaska", "Dudley Do-Right", "Inspector Gadget", "Elmo in Grouchland", "Austin Powers: The Spy who Shagged Me", "Stuart Little", "Jakob the Liar" (I think), and of course, "Muppets from Space".

I felt unhappy about this for years, but, this year, I found out this trailer was at Scarecroe's site, but I also found that the other Sesame trailer, "A Brief History of Cinema", was on it. I downloaded both trailers, and enjoyed them.

One of my cousins saw "Don't Forget to Watch the Movie" when he went to see "A Bug's Life", while a friend saw that same trailer when he went to see "Matilda".

I especially like "Don't Forget to Watch the Movie" because I liked seeing Biff, Kingston Livingston III, Frazzle, Mr. Between, Mumford, and Placido Flamingo.

I also like "A Brief History of Cinema" because I liked seeing the gang as movie stars (Elmo, Herry, and Telly as the Marx Brothers, Zoe as Judy Garland, the Count and Countess as Fred and Ginger, etc.).

So, what do you guys think of these trailers?

BlueAM,

Nice that you remember that article. It was a long time ago. They are excellent trailers. Extremely cool to see them in the theaters. There is nothing as much fun as hearing an audience react to Muppet stuff.
