Hi, all,
I've just recently been able to get a space on the net where I can store some of my clips of my "puppets 'n stuff". Among them is the trailer for a puppet show I created called LITTLE NICE MICE. I created this puppy ENTIRELY on my own about 4 years ago. I directed, wrote the script, songs, built and designed the puppets, shot it on my Canon XL1 (using a remote so I could operate the puppets. I layered the puppets in the editing process, for the group shots), made the 3d backgrounds, arranged all music and underscore, did the character voices (except the females). I know some of you hate puppets who lip sync, but since it was a "one man show", I had no choice. Among the puppets I build and sell on EBAY http://stores.ebay.com/PUPPETSNSTUFF-PUPPETS , I also sell copies of LITTLE NICE MICE. I just wanted to share the trailer with you all. Hope you enjoy it .....Pauly

I liked the trailer.
The songs were catchy.

I've been using very similar techniques, background mattes, layered editing, and such..

Hi Pauly,

It is great to see you are doing "it". Many people dream, plan, criticise (others' work), but never do anything themselves. You are definately someone who makes things happen. Good for you!

I think you did a great job. You have a variety of talents and it is nice to see you are putting them to good use.

Keep up the super work!

PS: By the way, I checked out your BLOG and site, and it seems like you do what I do (and very well too). Best of luck with your projects. ...Pauly

Wow- your puppet construction is superb! My favourite character is definately the glamour makeover girl.. the one who does the makeovers though... very cute and a brilliant character.

What sort of techniques did you use to construct the mice?

Take care,

Kristen

Thank you so much! I built the puppets out of foam and covered them in Antron fleece. These puppets were built differently than the puppets in my EBAY STORE, because I had pre cut seperate pieces of foam and glued them together to make the "skeleton" of the character (ie: cheeks, upper mouth, ears, etc.). The puppets in my EBAY STORE have only one piece of foam in their head for a simple round or oval shaped head. Thanks again for your nice compliments!. ....Pauly
