In no particular order, and some of these people may not be guest stars I'd particularly want on the show but it would happen anyway:

1. Matt Smith (the current Doctor on Doctor Who)
2. Jason Segel (of course)
3. Dr. Ken Jeong
4. Zach Galafinakis
5. Bradley Cooper
6. Ed Helms
7. Megan Fox
8. Mickey Rourke
9. David Tennant (the previous Doctor)
10. Beavis and Butt-Head, and for anybody who argues this one, Alice Cooper hosted the original show first of all and second of all, if B&B can interview Snooki on Jimmy Kimmel, they can do this. I figure they'd sneak in after doing some kind of unrepairable damage to the planned guest star.
11. The Rock
12. Jason Bateman
13. Betty White
14. Jamie Foxx
15. "Weird Al" Yankovic
16. Selena Gomez
17. Zac Efron
18. Angus T. Jones

Feel free to add to the list, folks!

There's not a ton of people I'd be interested in seeing, but after the film I would recommend Jim Parsons, lol.

I feel like the list of potential guest hosts for if the Muppets ever did start up another show could be endless, and I'm sure everyone would be clawing to have a chance to be on it. However, here would be the top of my list for people I'd love to see do sketches with the Muppets:

Tom Hanks, Jason Segel (no duh), Emma Stone, Stanley Tucci, Steve Buscemi, Meryl Streep, Neil Patrick Harris, Anthony Stewart Head, Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Ellen Page, Natalie Portman, and David Tennant.

I personally think an "edgy" guest star in the vein of Alice Cooper would be the way to go...Eminem for example. In a dream world, and this is dreaming, the ultimate guest for me would be Bill Murray

I agree with Tom Hanks, Segel, Stone and Tennant. Neil Patrick Harris and Head would be neat too.
