Thought this might be interesting for some of you...Lisa Henson put out a statement via Neil Gaiman's blog that sort of addresses the whole issue of Henson doing non Muppet projects. It's interesting in a myth vs. reality sort of way.

Well, considering that Dark Crystal and Labyrinth were basically on the hate lists of filmgoers when they came out, anything they do will sooner or later be accepted as FINE ART! So, let's just go ahead and assume that what they do is art now and appreciate it in advance and, like them, be ahead of our time.

On the other hand, I saw the article on Extreme (Puppeteer) Makeover on ABC. I need to sign up for that. I'm ugly!
