I've discovered an old Anything Muppet skit on one of the Sesame Street Re-paved episodes (the ones from 2000, really) on Noggin where two policemen, the Fat Blue-like man and a straight purple man, in which they're resembling to Lefty the Salesman and Accomplice, are going to search for the 'W'. Then they are off to look for W, but they see a 'B' and that's NOT a 'W'. Then they did found a W, the W had just its eyes and was played by Jim Henson, but the W turns into an M and the two policemen think it's a W,...after that, they're mistaken as an M, but they changed their mind to chase the W at the end.

Remember that skit?

The famous "Golden An" skit was also recorded at the same time with similar backdrops.

I remember this one.it was a parody of DRAGNET: "My name is Sgt. Thursday . . .I'm a policeman".
