Recently I've been listening to Joe Raposo's song "Let's Make a Dream". He wrote it and recorded vocals in 1988, but the song did not get released to the public until 1992, when it was included on the album We are All Earthlings. I feel that's a bit of an odd choice, I feel Sing: The Songs of Joe Raposo would have been a more appropriate place to debut this track.
I wonder why this one didn't appear on the show. It is such an awesome song. I can picture it as a film insert, with lots of helicopter shots over things like mountains.
I think I first heard this song a few months ago, as I was listening I was trying to determine whether the singer was Richard Hunt or Joe Raposo before looking it up on Muppet Wiki. The voice is Don Music-like, and I could see this song being sung by Music, or maybe a different Richard Hunt character.
There seems to be a female vocalist who harmonizes on the song with Raposo at times. Anybody know who this is? My first guess is Ivy Austin.
