What are some of your least favorite kermit moments from Sesame Street?

I don't really hate any kermit moments, but there are some that I like less than others.

Some of the Kermit skits that i don't like as much as others are:
*Do Op Hop
*African alphabet
*the 1976 remake of being Green (I prefer the original version)
*my least favorite Sesame Street news segments are the one where kermit interviews the pigs after the wolf blew their houses down, the one where kermit interviewed a bird with divorced parents, and the one where Kermit was in a j mine.

I don't like the Kermit skit when the Count was the elevator operator and he kept counting the floors then at the end he made Kermit take the stairs while he rode the elevator. Even when I was a little kid watching this one I thought to myself "what a jerk" about the Count. I have to agree with you about the Newsflash with the bird with divorced parents. I'm not saying this is a bad skit. I'm actually really glad they did this. But for some reason it just seemed so out of place for a newsflash. After listening to the song for a while you could totally forget this was one of Kermit's Newsflashes. I think it would have worked much better if it just showed Ernie, or Telly or Elmo walking through the woods and they happened to run into that Bird and ask them about where they lived. Hey it could have even worked with Hoots the Owl. But having Kermit the reporter in this skit, just didn't fit right. Does anyone else think the same thing?

wonder why they remade the Being green song 6 years after it was done? never saw the 1st one other than owning the 1st SS record and hearing it and only saw the newer version a couple of times.

There are three different versiosn of that song on Sesame Street. The original version was included in the 25th anniversary video, and the remake I am refferring to was included on the videos I'm Glad I'm Me and The Best of Kermit on Sesame Street. There was another version featuring Kermit and Leena Horne. I haven't seen that one very muhc, and as far as I know it has never been released on video.
