(A title sequence appears, with "Learning About Feelings" appearing on-screen, and Dr. Feel reading the title)

(the sequence fades to black, and fades to Dr. Feel on his talk show set)
Dr. Feel: Hello, boys and girls, welcome to "The Dr. Feel Show". Today, we are going to learn more about feelings. First of all, everybody knows feelings, from cats to pigs, and here are some video clips to prove it!
(the video screen is shown, leading to the clips "Felines" and the Sesame Street News sketch where The Three Little Pigs discuss how they feel after the wolf blew their houses down)
Dr. Feel: What feelings! But now, here is our first guest, Elmo!
(Elmo comes on-stage, looking depressed)
Dr. Feel: Hi, Elmo! How do you feel?
Elmo: (sniffs) Sad.
Dr. Feel: Sad? Why do you feel sad?
Elmo: Elmo feels sad because Elmo dropped his ice cream on the floor, and now Elmo can't have any ice cream.
Dr. Feel: That's not true! You can still have ice cream.
Elmo: (starts to cheer up) Elmo can?
Dr. Feel: Sure! There is more ice cream for everybody!
Elmo: Yaaaaaaaaayyyy!!!
Dr. Feel: In fact, there is an ice cream buffet right down the lobby.
Elmo: Oh, boy! (runs to the lobby)
Dr. Feel: What a happy person. And now lets see some more feelings.
(leads to the skit where Ernie auditions merry men, the skit where Kermit and Cookie Monster demonstrate feelings, and the song Sad)
Dr. Feel: And now, we have another special guest. Here is Oscar the Grouch!
(the audience boos as Oscar comes on-stage)
Oscar: Oh, thank you, thank you.
Dr. Feel: Hello, Oscar. How do you feel?
Oscar: Angry!
Dr. Feel: Angry?
Oscar: Yes, angry, and when I am angry, I'm... I'm happy.
Dr. Feel: Really?
Oscar: Yes, grouches love to be angry, so when I am angry, I become happy, but grouches hate being happy, so that makes me angry, which makes me happy, which makes me angry, which makes me happy, which makes me...
Dr. Feel: Uh, we don't have anymore time for you.
Oscar: (offended) No more time?
Dr. Feel: Yeah, so get lost!
Oscar: Why, thank you. (leaves)
Dr. Feel: Some people can pretend to be angry, and some can actually be angry. Here are some of those people.
(leads to the skit where Ernie has Bert pretend to be angry and the song Mad)
Dr. Feel: Feelings can also be expressed with parts of the body.
(leads to the skit where Jim Carey shows his happy and sad feet)
Dr. Feel: Our next guest star is Telly Monster.
(Telly comes on-stage, feeling a bit shy)
Telly: Oh, oh, hello, uh.....
Dr. Feel: So, Telly, how do you feel?
Telly: Nervous! And worried, too!
Dr. Feel: Why do you feel so nervous and worried?
Telly: Because I am always worried!
Dr. Feel: Oh, well, you just need some confidence.
Telly: I also need a triangle.
Dr. Feel: Well, will a triangle make you feel better?
Telly: Maybe.
Dr. Feel: Oh, well, then, here are some triangles. (hands Telly five triangles)
Telly: Oh, wow, thank you!
Dr. Feel: You're welcome.
Telly: I feel a lot better now.
Dr. Feel: I'm glad.
Telly: I thought you were Dr. Feel.
Dr. Feel: Well, whoever I am, I would like to show some more clips on the video screen.
(leads to the song I Like Laughing When I'm Happy Best of All and the skit where Kermit and Elmo demonstrate happy and sad)
Dr. Feel: We now have one more guest. Say hello to Grover.
(Grover runs out on-stage)
Grover: Oh, hello, Dr. Feel, babyyyyyy!! (slaps Dr. Feel on the back)
Dr. Feel: Oh, I feel hurt
Grover: Oh, I am so sorry.
Dr. Feel: Well, you seem like you are in a good mood.
Grover: Oh, yes, I am proud.
Dr. Feel: Proud?
Grover: Yes. I tied my shoes all by myself, and I combed my fur all by myself, and I washed all of the dishes by myself, and I got a new job today, all by myself!
Dr. Feel: Oh, so you are proud.
Grover: Yes, I am proud of myself, and I have brought along a video clip to show.
Dr. Feel: Oh, okay. Let's play it!
(leads to the song Proud of Me, followed by I Can Do it By Myself, Pride, Just Happy to be Me, and Ev'rybody Be Yo'Self)
Dr. Feel: Well, that's our show for today. I hope you all enjoyed it. Well, see you soon!

That's very good. Is Dr.Feel a real Sesame Street character? If so what does he look like? Is he supposed to be human or an animal of some kind?

Like I said before very good job.

Yes. He is made from the pumpkin anything muppet (the AM wiht a tall head, used for characters like Sully). He is based on Dr. Phil McGraw. He wears a suit, has an orange triangular nose, has brown hair around the back of his head, has a brown mustache, and has brown eyebrows. He appeared in a few season 35 sketches.

In fact, a Dr. Feel sketch was shown on Sesame Street today. Maybe you can catch it on your local PBS network today.
