I still remember occasional footage of Mr. Hooper filtering in around the mid 80s, Am I mistaken in this and was indeed all references to a live Hooper immediately yanked after he died, or am I right, and if so, how long did his late appearances trickle on?

I highly doubt there would of been any Hooper footage on after he died. I wouldn't of made sense after they would do an episode on his passing. you must of mistaken it for an earlier time.

Tonight?

Are you free tonight? We could watch them tonight, although it is getting rather late. But I could find my own way back no problem. Let me know thanks.

Attention Moderators

Please One of the Moderators Delete my first post on this thread. It was supposed to be a Private Message to someone but I posted it on the board by mistake. As far as The last year of Hooper Footage, it was 1983. Although he died in 1982, there was some stuff with him that was filmed in late 1982 right before he died that didn't air until 1983. By November 1983 they weren't showing Hooper Material after they mentioned that he died, with 2 exceptions. The Big Bird goes to camp shows which were reran in the 1984-1985 Season had him in 2 of them, and Christmas Eve on Sesame Street ran on PBS until 1991. Hope this helps.
