With the sequel coming up, it makes me wonder what will happen.

Any children Kira has, will be the last gelflings alive. How would they feel knowing that are the last ones ?

Is it possible that more gelflings are alive, or could be brought back somehow with the Crystal of Truth ?

To me, that would make a better plot for a movie sequel. I mean, if all Jen and Kira wanted was to revive their familes, but ended up shattering the crystal....now I would happily wait for that.

They won't have children. But who knows maybe they'll make a new script?

That'll be nice, I didn't like the plot of the first one.

There is a new gelfling in the sequel, if it's still happening, which could plausibly be Jen & Kira's offspring. Who knows, we may not ever.
