kermit interview in local newspaper

In my local newspaper, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, there is an interview with Kermit. In it there is discussion of what he's been up to lately, Iraq, his relationship with Miss Piggy and the Denny's commercial among other things. It is a very good and very funny interview. There is also a little talk about It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie. They say it is one of the best Muppet movie's in the past few years and it has a new, hipper vibe. There is also a mention of Beaker as a muscle-bound, tattooed night club bouncer in the movie. Awesome. I can't wait. 2 more days!

Okay, what the heck is this "there was a spark between Piggy and me but that was 25 years ago" nonsense? This is the second time Whitmire's told this story. Whom is this supposed to entertain?

Does Whitmire do drugs?
