Am I getting my wires crossed, or was there a sketch where Kermit went to get a custom t-shirt with his name and they kept misspelling it. The misspellings went to other monster and anything muppets like "Kermit the FORG" and "Kermit the GORF." Finally the shop keeper figures it out and says its not ready yet.

Does anyone remember this sketch, or am I crazy? (Perhaps both  :stick_out_tongue: )

Yes, Iremember this sketch from when I had better sight.

The misspellings were three.
Kermit the Forg, Kermit the Gorf, and Kermit the Grof.
If you could help out with a descript of the T-Shirt Shopkeeper, I'd appreciate it.

You can see this sketch if you buy/rent the DVD Bert and Ernie's Word Play. Or check your library - they probably have tons of SS DVDs.

Yeah, that always confused me too. Other than that, I really liked the sketch:

I'M KERMIT THE FROG AND I WANT MY KERMIT THE FROG T-SHIRT!!!!!!!

I like the way Kermit the GORF and GROF are all friendly, while the FORG waltzes in with an air of entitlement, barely thanking the "salesman".

I think you mean the GROF; the FORG thanks him, while the GROF just says "Bah-bah".
