Would it have sent the right message if they had taken real frogs out of the rainforest environment, caged them and shipped them here for a video?

Only if they had installed in-cage plasma TV, selection of DVD's (swamp years, a bugs life, best of the crazy frog), wifi, mini bar, and put them up in a five star london hotel!

I think that's a very moving peace of film and it's for such a good cause. The bit at the end with Kermit makes me well up! I think the voice break may have been intentional to show Kermit's sad and evocative side, if it wasn't-well it still did it for me.
