I thought of a possible nitpick for the very first TMS episode.

Towards the end of the Juliet Prouse episode when Muppy refuses to perform Simon Smith with Scooter, Fozzie appears and says "Kermit, how come I'm not doing an act on the show this week?"
To which Kermit replies, "Congratulations Fozzie. You're doing an act this week." And gets Fozzie to substitute for Muppy.

But didn't Fozzie technically already do an act earlier in that episode when he played Kid Fozzie in that Western sketch with Rowlf and other muppets, in spite of his complaint to Kermit?

I think he was referring to his usual Monolouges.

Yep - that same nitpick is pointed out in MC's episode guide.

Obviously a result of redoing the backstage plot when they modified that episode from its original test pilot version (also detailed in MC's ep guide).

Still, i'm surprised no one caught that error when they were reworking the show. Especially since it's pretty glaring and noticable when that scene occurs very shortly after the Western Sketch.

Of course I don't know, but I would guess they were under time pressure.

It IS a pretty glaring error... and grating!
