I posted this in your other thread titled "Lost Muppet Show".

It does sound like your referring to Julie On Sesame Street !

The show was made to test the UK Audience, And see how the like The Sesame Street Muppets and what their reaction would be towards a whole show based on Puppets. They also totaly rebuilt the entire set (with extras) in Elstree Studios, England !
When they built it here, They added the opposite side of the street to 123 and they also made a bridge carry on from where Bird's nest is, Instead of a corner the bridge carried on the street.

The show starts with Julie in a pure white studio siging the Sesame Street Theme, Then Oscar yells "Follow Me!". So she does.

She runs around after Oscar (Trashcan with legs) and then all of these Trashcan with legs appear, All with different color legs. At the end of the musical number there are around 40 of them!

Then the show goes from there, Julie meets Ernie, Bert, Cookie, Biff, Big Bird and Snuffy. Grover makes an appearance, so does Betty Lou.

They do a big tribute to Broadway, And Perry Como even visits. Him and Julie sing a great medley about "songs with sing in them, or songs with song in them... You'll get the hang of it".

This, in my opinion is the greatest Sesame Street Special.
