In the past I read here at MC that Jim was cremated and his ashes spread over some ranch the family owns out in the southwest. But the news article below says he is buried in a cemetery in New York. Both can't be right and wrong?
"...People have asked for spaces near Malcolm X at Ferncliff Cemetery in Westchester County, N.Y., but none are available.
That cemetery has many famous people buried in it -- including Judy Garland, Jim Henson, Ed Sullivan, Christopher Reeves, Paul Robeson, Jam Master Jay and Joan Crawford -- but sales representative Joe Bivona said it cannot charge a premium for proximity to the famous: The state won't allow it. New York is the only state in the nation with a board regulating prices."

Also an online search of the Ferncliff Cemetery shows that Jim was cremated there.

I don't think the cemetary would list his name at all if he didn't reside there.
Perhaps his ashes lie in a mausoleum.
Or perhaps they where then moved and spread over a ranch in the Southwest, if that story is true.
