did Jim Henson play the piano? On page 132 in "of muppets and men" kinda makes it seem as he did. it says Jim comes in after a meeting and "joins the group at the piano" am i just reading this wrong?

With his tremendous amount of vocal talent, I'm sure he'd have a basic understanding of music and theory, even chord structure and progression to a degree I'd imagine.

well he did help write TMS them as well so i dont know. I think it would be neat to know. I always thought that jim was really playing the banjo when Kermit was singing Rainbow Conection on TMM but i know he probly wasnt. i wonder if it is really possable for a muppet to really play a musical insterment.

I don't think the Kermit puppet was sophisticated enough to play a banjo...

But we do know Jim Henson could carry a tune, and he made the Rainbow Connection song a really special number.
