Hey has anyone ever heard of the song "Jim Henson's Dead"? I just got it off of Kazzah. It's really nice, although I don't like the abrupt use of the phrease "Jim Henson's dead". I also think it's pretty recently done as they mention Pokemon. The words go as follows"

the song is by Stephen Lynch. also, some of the lyrics are wrong. It goes Pokemon's a silly phase

You can download this song quite easily. Does anyone know for what occasion the song was made? Was it made for Jim Henson's funeral or something?

When I saw the artists I thought it would be a joke song. A rather tastless joke song because of some of the other things he's done. Special Ed, Special Olympics, Kill a Kitten, and others come to mind. But when I heard it I was surprised that it doesn't make fun of the Muppets of Jim Henson's death at all.

I don't think it's wrong to have the lyric that Jim Henson is dead. He is. The whole point is that while he is dead his vision will (hopefully) live on.

I remember hearing this song too. When I used to have Kazza. Really lovely tribute to The Muppet Master as I loveingly like to call him. I never thought of him as being ' dead '. No one is ever really dead as long as ther's one person in the world that still holds his memory, and Jim Hanson will always be alive for decades to come if not centuries.
