I wrote a thread on the Muppet wiki, and it didn't get any responses, so here's what I said

Two month ago, I read the recent Jim Henson biography (I forgot the author, it's the one with the cover holding Ernie and Kermit), and it briefly states that one of the scariest moments in first seeing "The Wizard Of Oz" was the opening MGM logo.

I felt bad for him because the MGM lion scared me as a kid, and still spooks me out to this day sometimes when I'm not expecting it. I consider it one of the scariest logos ever.

I believe he got over this fear by the time he was an adult, because of the Muppet parodies AND Disney MGM Studios.

What's your opinion on this? Did you sympathize with that paragraph?

Ironically there's the Closing Logos Group and also a huge fanbase for scary logos.

So what is your opinion on this?
