Jim Henson Puppetry Course Videos

This is pretty cool...Gary Friedman has recently put up some videos on YouTube from the course in Film & Video Puppetry that Jim Henson taught the Institute International de la Marionnette in France in 1987 (Gary was one of the students there).

I've posted a quick rundown of the videos on PuppetVision with links. They include a couple short films that students made as well as two videos of Jim training and working with puppeteers.

Yes, Thanks Andrew. I enjoyed those videos because we can see Jim be Jim and work in his field. It's much more interesting watching a person be candid than do interviews I think and that's something that isn't seen much with Jim.

thanks andrew, it is really neat to watch Henson be himself and talk to people in the field candidly. Interviews always are stiffled and never really show you anything about puppetry.
