That's a great story, very touching. I use to watch the MMC, I wish it had aired that segment. :sympathy:

I read this article a long time ago. One thing I found intersting: the writer says that he attended Muppetfest, and he talked about his experience meeting Henson on the show with some of the performers there, who apparantly remembered it, but it seems like he didn't tell anybody at Muppetfest who would have mentioned this fact on any message boards. Could he have thought that we knew about this?

I clicked on the link to read the article again, and it seems like the page is deleted or no longer existing. Is it available somewhere else? I wanted to post that link on Muppet Wiki, as it's my only source for this appearance.

I just read the article (search Henson, it'll be the first link there) , it is definitely very touching.
