Does anyone else feel like Jim Henson's memory is being forgotten? I mean you don't see "Jim Henson's The Muppets" since Disney bought the rights. You just see "Disney's The Muppets" I think its quite sad to be honest. I think people have forgotten the real reason why the Muppets are even here today is because of one mans dream. They don't even talk about him much when Kermit is doing interviews. I feel like the memory of what made my childhood was because of Jim Henson. To me he will always be Kermit. It's why I got so choked up in The Muppets because of how much I miss Jim and wish he could've seen how even today The Muppets are still going strong.

But not in the world at large, either. Do you remember his 75th birthday last year? There was quite the fuss, for a guy who's been gone for 20 years. Google did their thing. There were tributes all over the internet. He was even trending on Twitter, for whatever that's worth. And there were non-internet events here and there around the country, yes? I don't remember the details of those, but I'm pretty sure I'm not making it up.
