Hi

Just purchased an invisible ink Fraggle rock activity book, but is has no pen.

Anyone know where I can get a cheap one, ebay wants 3.75 plus $5 shipping! Do they still sell these in stores, or maybe a dollar store?

I had a muppets one when I was kid, I loved it.
(holding back from coloring in it!)

Also does anyone know the value of this book. I never saw one on ebay before, checked out the collectables page on here, and it is said to be one of the last collectables made till the 1993 video releases.

any info is greatly appriciated!

I think I wrote the description in the collectibles section on that book. As far as it being the last thing produced between ... '89 to '93, I should have mentioned that that was just from my own point of view. I didn't have anything other than my own fraggle-searching experiences to base that statement on. :smirk:

Umm.. dunno where to get another pen except, that maybe if you don't have it, you could find the other Fraggle Rock invisible ink book on eBay & use the pen that comes with it. I don't think they sell for all that much and for a while, both were pretty easy to find on eBay. Probably still are. :smirk:

An invisible ink book...with no pen. Right. That's clever.
Anyway, I've seen a few of them invisible wirting pens in many places, normally around £3 - £5. I don't know if they work, since I'm not familier with these books. Seeing as I wasn't even born when Fraggle Rock was airing for the first time.

Well, I've seen a LOT of those kinds of books in various drug stores... they are a little hard to find, mind you... and they cost about what you would have paid for it on e-bay. I remember seeing a Mickey Mouse invisible ink pen and book not too long ago, but that was before Brooks became Rite Aid in my area, so they may/may not still have them. And that's provided that the ink has the same chemical make up it used to have, and is still compatible with a book that old.

Hmm..that's why I always loved those paint with water books more, you never had to worry about finding the right 'paint'

Sometimes it is just a pen with water like those Crayola Colorwonder pens.
