Hello everyone! I wanted to introduce myself again, but more specifically to the puppet making crowd, because boy, am I happy to see you!

I've always been a big fan of the Muppets, Costumes, anything fanciful. I'm a facepainter/body artist and recently made a rather large go at puppet making! It was for an office-production parody of Avenue Q (so is a parody of a parody the anti-parody?)

Anyhoo, I completely winged 12 different puppets, some of them are here http://picasaweb.google.com/eyecandyarts/StateAvenue?feat=directlink
But I have since found puppet project, and you all, and can't wait to have some money to mail off to buy some patterns. Yay!

Welcome! Nice work on those puppets! I hope you enjoy your visits to this forum as much as I do. While I haven't posted anywhere near as much as many folks I always enjoy checking in with my brothers and sisters in the world of fleece and foam! The puppet community is a pretty tight knit little group and this is such a great way for us all to stay connected and networked. I look forward to seeing you round the forum!
