Many segments from the American Sesame Street were dubbed into different languages and included in many international versions of the show. But does anybody know if any segments that were originally produced for any of the non-u.s. versions were dubbed in english and shown in the american versions?

I think so. I have an '80s episode that has a Spanish-language cartoon teaching about "Telefonos". It's entirely in Spanish, without any English explanation. I assume it came from Plaza Sesamo.

On the other hand, it could be one of those dual-produced cartoons where both an English and Spanish version were produced simultaneously. There were several of those.

I know that for Canadian Sesame Street they had alot of cartoons in French, but I have no idea as to whether they were made for our show, or as you said, made for american audiences and dubbed into other languages.
