So I was looking at a Norwegian news site, standard clickbait stuff, whatever. I came across an article about illustrations from children's books that were considered okay in Norway but had to be censored in the US, and one of the pictures was this...

"Please delete the knife (we don't picture weapons in our books)"
I guess it's a picture of spring activities? O. Tidemand has made a willow flute, and making a willow flute is a vital part of anyone's childhood, no matter how young. I just think it's funny, because this picture doesn't make sense at all if the knife is gone. How do you expect to make a willow flute without a knife? :stick_out_tongue: Plus it's clearly being used as a tool, not a weapon, so I guess you could argue that the hammer should be removed, too. Hey, hammers are pretty dangerous :coy:
What are your thoughts? Is Sesame Street's audience too young to even see a knife, regardless of context? Should an educational show not teach proper knife handling? And how do you make a willow flute without a knife?
