I missed you all too!((((PLENTY OF HUGS!!))))
I (sort of) didn't want to come home because I have family up there.Plus my 6 year old niece is growing up to be a really sweet young girl.
Here's a perfect example:
My niece & I were playing in her living room & she wanted me to come downstairs & play with her in the TV room. So she headed downstairs & I took my time going.Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my toe! :eek: So I told her that I needed to stay in the living room & explained my toe was hurting. So she came upstairs & sat with me. Then she started drawing something & whispered something to my sister.My sister answered her and my niece continued drawing. She then said,"Aunt Kathy...I have a get-well card for you!" :smile: She drew flowers & the sun .Then put our names and ages (she asked my sister my age) on the back. I was soooo.... touched!
I miss that little princess with all my heart.:frown: Her half sister will be born in March.I realize that playing favorites isn't supposed to be done. But I can't really help it right now.
Oh great...now I'm teary eyed thinking about her & everyone else in NY. Darn distance anyway!snif
