One of my recent adventure's on "Byron's Spontaneous Road Trip Vacation"...
"The Byron Takes Cincinnati (well, the zoo, anyway)"
Originally Emmy and I had wanted to meet there a few-several weeks ago, but it hadn't worked out, and it turns out it's a good thing it didn't...I spent about 40 minutes with the giraffe that mornin', quite a bit of time with the okapi, about 15-20 minutes with the baby okapi later in the afternoon, then another good 15-20 minutes with the giraffe.
So, in short, if you don't have a passionate, soulful connection with the giraffe family like I do, ya prob'ly woulda been really bored and not liked me very much.
I think most of us have an animal or two like that, though...ones you just feel "heart to heart" with, find beautiful, soulful, and have a special affinity for...
Ya know, the kind that, if given the chance, you would GLADLY travel to their native land and fervently live with them, feed them, photograph them, and research them for days on end!
