Ideas for a possible 4-disc TMS CD collection

If Disney decided to make a four-disc set of songs from The Muppet Show and put you in charge of the contents, what would you include? Remember, you can include anything you want (even songs with the guest stars) as long as they are from the muppet show and not any other programs. let's say there could be up to 20 songs a disc.
here is my wish list:

Disc 1
1. the Muppet Show Theme (fifth season version)... the cast
2. mahna mahna...Mahna Mahna and the two Snowths
3. Pigs In Space (the one from The Muppet Show 2 album)... Link Hogthrob, Miss Piggy, and Dr. Strangepork.
4. Rockin' Robin' Dr. Teeth and the electric mayhem, led by janice, and the birds.
5. Six String Orchestra... Scooter.
6. Memory lane... Gonzo.
7. Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavor On The bedpost Overnight?... The Goggolala Jubilee Jugband.
8. Old Fashioned Love Song.. Paul Willaims and the gogolalala jubilee jugband
9. When I grow Too Old To Dream... Linda Ronstadt and Kermit with the Muppets.

Neat idea but unfortunatley I haven't seen a lot of Muppet Show episodes so I don't really know all the songs. I would like to get all the songs from the movies on CD though

Good choice of songs MM.I agree with you,there should be a box set on muppety songs,especially the UK skit songs.We'll see what the future brings.

7. Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavor On The bedpost Overnight?... The Goggolala Jubilee Jugband.

Heee, completely unrelated, but I have a funny story about that song. I heard it when I was a kid, probably on Sharon, Lois, and Bram. So, naturally, I tried it. And it didn't come off. Yeah, the gum got stuck. So I had green gum stuck on the back side of my white metal bed for years and years, until I grew out of that bed and got a new one.

covers

I have three ideas for album covers. the back cover would be a big image of the ending of the opening (before the muppet show logo appears on-screen).

cover idea #1: have a collage of images from various photos taken during the Muppet Show days. the focus point of the picture would be a picture of kermit 9the one from the muppet show album cover). Gonzo would be in the "O" of the muppet show logo (holding his bugle). a second season image of Miss Piggy and 3-5 season image of Scooter would be next to kermit on his left, and on the right of kermit would be images of Fozzie bear and rowlf (playing piano) that come from seasons 2-5. behind them would be dr. teeth and the electric mayhem playing their images. if there are not any good publicity photos of Lips with the band, then I would use a picture of the original five members and add an image of Lips with them (or just include seperate images of all band members). the cover would also have th classicpicture of sweetums holding Robin.

cover idea #2: similar to the Songs from the Street cover, this one would be a few different muppet show images: the back cover of the first muppet show album, an image of the electric mayhem (one with lips), a picture of lobbock lou and his jughuggers, a picture of rowlf, a picture of the monsters from the opening, a picture of statler and waldorf, a picture of Bunsen and beaker, and a Pigs In Space image.

cover idea #3: an illustration featuring as many characters from The Muppet Show as possible: Kermit, fozzie, miss piggy, foo foo, gaffer, gonzo, rizzo, camillia, penguins, rowlf, scooter, nigel the conductor, dr. teeth, floyd, animal, janice, zoot, lips, sweetums, beauregard, the newsman, j.p. gross, lew zeland, link hogthrob, dr. strangepork, annie sue pig, pops, crazy harry, gorgon heap, thog, the mutations, robin, uncle deadley, louis kazager, bunsen, beaker, the swedish chef, the flying zuccinni brothers, marvin suggs, and fleet scribbler, in addition to other characters (if there is room).
