I Love the 40's MC thread

a lot of good movies came out of this decade, such as:
Citizen Kane
Its A Wonderful Life
Bambi
Casablanca
Dumbo
& Pinocchio

What else was good or interesting about the 1940's?

How about "Song of the South", the first Disney film to combine live action with animation?
One if my personal favorites as well.

wow, i can't believe i left Song of the South out. oh how i'd love to see that movie. maybe one day, when the time is right, disney will think the world is ready to see it, with out it being bootleged.
