Hi y'all. Earlier this morning, I drove up to the post office and mailed a letter to Cheryl Henson over at the New York Muppet offices. In the letter, I told her how her fathers work has inspired me to do the things that I have done with my life, such as joing several choral groups both at school and church, perfroming with the school band, and acting out in different plays.
I then told her that i am currently in college and hoping to have a career in either puppetry or film and television. I also mentioned that I would be interested in seeing some of the workshops and studios, in order to know what goes on there (sounds like a stupid request, but that's what being a Muppet fan is).
I ended the letter by saying that I was a great admirer of how she and her family help to keep Jim's legacy alive and well. So that's basically a general overview of what I wrote to her. I will let you all know when I hear from her again.
