Is anybody here besides me a fan of those three depressed cavemen from the Geico commercials? Well apparently ABC is giving the cavemen their own sitcom! I read about it in the paper a while ago: the plot is suppose to revolve around the three cavemen living in modern-day Atlanta and basically trying to prove to everyone else they are not as simple and uneducated much like how they've been all upset about "Geico is so easy, a caveman can do it".

I also read that they've got 16 episodes ordered, but are still trying to decide on whether or not to get the original three guys who play the cavemen in the commercials, or get actual TV/sitcom stars to take over the roles.

This is going to be a hoot!!!

The actor who plays the main caveman is the main guy from 10 Items or Less on TBS... I do like the cavemen but, as Geico tends to overplay their commercials, I do wonder if they'll still be as popular when the show airs

I think the show sounds awesome. But I don't think I'd watch it if they didn't use the same actors. It just wouldn't be the same.

They're cool in the comericals... but an entire show about them? A bit too much for me.

And my mom predicted this would happen too, because she too loves those commercials and one days she said casually that the cavemen should have their own show, and then a few days later we read about it in the paper!

I heard and read that the Geico Cavemen are to get their own tv series.I can't imagine how that would work out.I'm not a fan of commercials, especially those from Geico.I wish Geico would make more uplifting commercials.Putting those under the microscope for who they are is nonsense, particularly those that we once were, many eons ago, lol.

Oh my gosh, that's great! Well I don't know how well a TV show would do, but I do like those guys, lol. A lot more than the geco. I liked him better when he had an upper class accent.

As long as it's not a half hour long commerical for Geico. That would be awkward... ::nods::

This is gonna end up like a remake of the fricken Munsters, or maybe like a remake of the Addams Family, where they think that they are normal people and everybody else knows they're monsters or something. I don't know how this'll work in modern days, I think that there are too many sitcoms being made that shouldn't be, and this is one of them. I guess what I'm trying to say is STOP WASTING FILM ON GARBAGE!!!
