A good performance by Louise Gold this evening as the Queen from Spitting Image, though vocally sounding much closer to Louise's own voice than she has in the past. Though interesting to see that Fluck and Law weren't involved in the programme.

Well I don't know about it being close to Louise's own voice, perhaps. I actually thought she wandered a bit into the voice she used for Mrs Doasyouwouldbedoneby in the musical of The Water Babies!

Still it was a good performance. She seemed much more at ease than on previous programmes like this. (and ever so much more confident than when she did the live NFT Event the other week - which incidentally Peter Fluck appeared in too).

Anyway, it's good to see Louise given her rightful place as a puppeteer.
