Hi everyone...I am a journalism student at nyu working on a short how to piece on how to make a very basic puppet (like a one page, mostly pictoral article). The concept is that it's the new fall tv season and the shows that are out are terrible, so rather than watch Whoopi, you should make yourself a whoopi puppet.

I'm going to chronicle myself making a whoopi puppet (to whatever degree of success i reach) in a humorous manner and this will be the bulk of the article.
I'm planning on using puppetry books from my school's library.

To pad out my article, I was wondering if a few puppeteers or puppet builders wouldn't mind being interviewed over the phone on saturday afternoon.

If you're interested, please email me your telephone number...my email is
LAK235@NYU.EDU

Thanks for your time

and i know my article idea sounds ridiculous...it's more a comedy piece than anything else...but i'd still like to do some reporting to make it good, ya know?
